MLC 06-06-2015 06:31 PM

2:26 and change. I've been following racing since Carry Back and watching this is so great. My whole family cheering him on. We're hoping for a chance to see him at Monmouth or maybe Saratoga.

Alabama Stakes 06-06-2015 06:35 PM

that was ****ing incredible. what a flow of positive energy at Suffolk as fans go berserk down the stretch....:)

King Glorious 06-06-2015 06:46 PM

Same thing in the sports book at this Vegas hotel. Lot of cheering as he came home. I think it's a great DAY for racing. Don't think as much for the long term though.

So happy the wait is over and congrats to Victor, Baffert and the Zayat's who showed what winning with class is all about.

Hopefully it won't be another 37 years as I don't think I have that much time left.

joeydb 06-06-2015 07:05 PM

Incredible! What a fantastic day and I am SO glad I saw this!!!

_ed_ 06-06-2015 07:09 PM

speaking of which, he went each quarter

24.06

24.77

24.58

24.58

24.34

24.32

So, in other words, he only slowed down in one quarter mile, going the first to the second.

Can't wait to hear the cries that he went super slow early.

Fastest last quarter in the race in forty years.

luvalab 06-06-2015 07:29 PM

I videoed my family watching it so my girls (ages 6 and 4) would be able to remember this day. I tried to explain to them that I was only 1 the last time a horse won the Triple Crown. To me, there is nothing better in sports than Thoroughbred Racing and hopefully people were able to grab a hold of a little piece of that today.
