Sad but true. The people who are hurt worst by "Black Lives Matter" - {{Provided it's a white guy being the dick}} - are the poorest of the poor.

Way to go, Accomplices :(

I can only speak for Chicago but the violence isn't a black-white issue at all. It's a gang problem nurtured and protected by black and latino political and community leaders crying racist every time police target them while crying for grants that are pocketed or wasted on useless programs like midnight basketball leagues. Police and those in the neighborhoods know who the gangbangers are and police don't target them because they're black or latino but because they're gangbangers. It's true there have been and are bad police officers but condemning an entire force based on the actions of few is akin to condemning all the residents of Englewood because the actions of a few gangbangers among them.

Rudeboy is correct though in that the poorest of the poor are the ones being hurt as they're the ones living in the neighborhoods amongst the gangbangers. And when you have a black President who lives less than a couple miles from the problem publically making statements condemning the actions of police anytime a black man dies while ignoring the dozens killed in his backyard every month there isn't much hope. When that is compounded by a black attorney general who doesn't hesitate filing RICO charges against biker gangs and an international soccer league but ignores inner-city gangs the hope dies completely.

Just as a lawn can't flourish with weeds a neighborhood can't with gangs.

Education is the fertilizer and seed to escape poverty but without accountability by teachers, administrators, students and parents it's like throwing the seed and fertilizer on concrete hoping grass will grow.

I agree Dell

12 dead, 40+ wounded over Christmas Weekend

Sadly, it doesn't seem as if much has changed for the better. I believe a report by the Police Superintendent claimed almost 50 firearms (didn't say what type) were seized in a city where that gang members face worse sanctions from their gangs for losing a gun than they do by the courts for illegally possessing one.

750+ murders so far but what is really alarming is the increase in shootings and shooting victims

Rest in Peace Dell

Trump has it covered...he said so

1. The labor participation rate is near a 40-year low and has been under 63 percent now for 33 consecutive months. And instead of putting people back to work, under this president, the number of Americans dependent on government is surging. A near record $45 million Americans currently receive food stamps. That is an increase of 42 percent since January 2009.

2. As for poverty, the president talks about helping every American get ahead, but this again has not been the case. Since 2008, the poverty rate has shot up 17 percent. 46 million Americans now live in poverty, and the dream of owning your own home has been made a nightmare under Obama for many Americans. The rate of those who own a home has now dropped several percentage points. Now, we also saw record numbers of foreclosures during his presidency. 2011 was the worst year on record for home sales.

3. Under the president, our national debt has reached very dangerous levels. In January 2009, when he took office, it stood at $10.6 trillion. Well, it's over $21 trillion today, a 100 percent increase. By the time he leaves the White House, he will accumulate more debt than every other president before him combined. And because of this massive accumulation of debt, for the first time ever, America's credit rating was downgraded.

If that isn't enough *Hope and Change* fpr ya, and for good measure: mix in wide open boarders, unfettered access by the drug cartels to set up shop and get a huge number of theses completely forgotten, disaffected souls addicted to heroin.

Now keep scratching your head trying to figure it all out.

Then ignore it because you don't want to face the facts, and blame guns.

And then wonder why you lost the Presidency, The House, The Senate, the majority of State Governors, and the majority of State representatives to the Republicans.

Trump, at the very least, has the balls to identify the issues and work with inner city community leaders to find ways to give them a hand up off the floor.

What ever he does, it will be miles ahead of what the prince of Chicago has done for his fair city in his 8 full years as our chief executive - rest assured.

But it won't be enough, RBE. He's already submitting to the same folks who got us in this mess. And apparently the anti-white American narrative is in overdrive.

This is much bigger. It's about the survival of the white race. The sooner we all realize that then we can make real change. We're soon to be hunted like dogs otherwise.

Save this post for two decades and tell me I'm wrong.

Pants II 12-26-2016 05:04 PM

And I'm going to say it right now...

if he panders to the inner cities and forgets about the heartland he will be a one term President and we'll probably end up with a complete full blown socialist minority President in 2020.

We're in big, big trouble long term. Mad Max style trouble. Look no further than South Africa. They're about ready to eradicate us down there.

Liberal Ideology Failure summed up in one meme:

The view here in Chicago is that the police have stopped policing since Laquan MacDonald. They are usually outnumbered/provoked when trying to diffuse tense situations in tough neighborhoods and any physical response could wind up on youtube, perhaps out of context. So they just let everything play out on the streets.

My friend's 12yo kid was punched in the face and robbed of his cell phone on the way home from school in a nice neighborhood on the north side. The cops took 2 hours to show up and made no real effort to get descriptions of the muggers. The whole department is basically in donut mode, waiting to retire.

The killings will continue until the cops feel safe again and motivated to do their jobs. But I don't see any real momentum to fix that from current CPD leadership, Rahmfather (democrat), or the Governor (republican).

Change will have to come from grass roots community outrage or some type of Federal intervention.

Chicago...As of 9:48pm last night (astoundingly, this increases hourly)

2016 Shootings: 4,324
2016 Homicides: 753

2015 Shootings: 2,989
2015 Homicides: 478

Let that sink in.

only in cook county would they suggest such a thing...... and we wonder why its open season on crime here....this is why.

Quote:

As of Wednesday, there were 101 people in Cook County Jail awaiting trial for Class 4 felony retail-theft cases, according to Cara Smith, chief of policy for the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

"This is a population of people who tend to spend a lot of time in the jail," Smith said. "We've been advocating for years that they do not belong there."

Smith said most of the accused shoplifters who come through Cook County Jail "are by and large very sympathetic." They're often homeless, mentally ill or suffering from addiction, she noted.

Filing fewer felony cases will "have a significant effect on that population," Smith said. "These are people in need of services, not incarceration."

at least the 101 scum sitting in jail are not robbing or stealing....but no, lets put the "petty" criminals back on the street to continue their trade  I mean receive services. Hell, she just said resources are strained, where are the services coming from?

Since He probably thought He wasn't going to win anyway, I think He will not run for a second term. He is going to hand it over to Pence. He gave a hint of this in his acceptance speech. He also can see what you look like after 8 years. He is too vain for that.
