Dallas Stewart Does It Again With Tale of Verve

Dallas Stewart has done a great job over the last few years of getting longshot horses to surprise almost everyone in Triple Crown races. He did it again yesterday with Tale of Verve.

The '13 Derby was understandable because the pace was crazy and his colt just passed a bunch of fading horses. So it kind of made sense.

The performance of his horses in last year's Derby and this year's Preakness, however, are baffling to me.

I believe Verve's pricetag was 400k so someone liked what they saw....and Stewart is a very good trainer

He really is not though. I'm pretty sure the stats back me up. At work, can't access Formulator right now.

C+ at best compared to the best. What has he done lately, I ask because I don't follow him at all. Even Asmussen kicks his behind but Steve, like him or not, kicks a lot of trainer's behinds.

Dallas is an automatic tossola for me. You'd go broke betting that guy. Him running 2nd in that race makes everyone in there, a bet against, going forward. Especially the mud off the mud (in belmont) winner.

Does anyone know what AP's feet look like. I'm thinkin he's a mudfooted rascal

Unrelated question:
Does anyone know if Equine Foot Fetishism is a treatable condition?

Maybe you can ask jay cutler ?

The feet are just about the only thing you can use as a handicapping tool that is y out there for everyone to see. It's probably more than your little brain can handle
