Randy Romero - Diagnosed with stomach tumor
 

Retired Hall of Fame jockey Randy Romero, who has dealt with numerous physical ailments throughout his life, has another hurdle to overcome.

The Daily Racing Form reports that while undergoing medical tests recently in order to be placed on a waiting list for a liver and kidney transplant, doctors found a tumor in his stomach.

When I think of Randy, I think of Go for Wand. If 2 ever deserved a better fate, it was them

Just saw the news on bloodhorse. I hope its benign, so he will be able to stay on the donor list. Poor randy, always have been a fan of his and I hate that he's had so many health issues.

Has anyone heard anything more? They say no news is good news, I hope that's true here
