One of the great benefits of living in Chicago was being able to see guys like BB King regularly. My Grandpa had a warehouse in the old Maxwell Street Market area and on Sundays in the summer these guys would put on a show not for money but for the music. Floyd and Moody Jones, Buddy Guy, Big Daddy Kinsey and his son Donald and a host of others. Makes me want to be 12 again. I'm sure Kingston Mines will be a rockin tonight!!

RIP to the King and Lucille
