Important track grooming notes from Mike Welsch post-training/pre-Florida Derby raceday: http://live.drf.com/nuggets/12129

Florida Derby Day: The main track will be rated fast and the turf firm for Florida Derby Day although as has been the case all week, the main track was on the deep and laboring side during training hours throughout the morning. Not sure what kind of maintenance will be done in the 2 hours before post time and it remains to be seen if, as has been the case since last Saturday, speed horses racing on the rail will have little or no chance to win again today.

FG SCR/CHG'S

Still a good deal of speed involved, but big SCR of Mystery Train out of New Orleans H'cap..

As @DRFWelsch offered after training (see above), GP inside still dull w/ best footing in outer paths as evidenced by @Romansracing 30-1 win'r in 2nd.
