Poll: End to fee impasse timeframe?

When will the Mid-Atlantic fee impasse end?

I went by the races of interest coming up on the calendar. I did not filter that list for what tracks would be blocked by the dispute. I hope full service will be restored so many of us can enjoy at least some of the 3 year old events leading up to the Derby.

Well it looks like everyone was smart for not picking this week, the Rebel on 3/14.

The data even with this small of a statistical sample makes sense in that most people think it will either be resolved before the Kentucky Derby, but failing that it could be a very long time.

Happened to flick on TVG just as they were done loading into the gate in the finale yesterday (knowing from Twitter what horses would scoop the whole pot). I must say, because of the fact that we aren't able to partake in it, I was actually rooting for the jackpot to be hit. The 2 loomed large at the head of the stretch and definitely looked the part of the winner, only to have the 1 save enough gas in the tank to repel the 2's stretch run. Last year I would have been rooting for one of the other horses to overtake the jackpot winners, but yesterday I found myself actually happy for the person who had the 1 horse.

I think they are playing a game of chicken with Derby Weekend being the oncoming train. Oaks/Derby day at Parx are amongst the biggest of the year.

I agree wholeheartedly with you jms.

If we can't play it, it's like watching a movie.

Probably could. I just have to do it. Phonebet/PARX obviously is impacted.

So looks like no solution before Florida Derby unless we hear differently today.
