From an era where as an Eagles fan, you respected certain Cowboys, Redskins or Giants. Pugh was one of them.

Wow there is a name I forgot about over the years - but now I remember how much I hated him (and the Cowboys) when I was young.

i don't know any Iggles fans who didn't hate all Cowboys or anything about them. Bill Bergey said he lived to punish the Cowboys. Dallas/Philly was a blood rivalry for sure.
Old Patriots fans like me still consider the Dolphins enemy #1. This will never change. When Nick Buoniconti, became a dolphin....it was on baby.

I could imagine why Eagles fans hated him. Dallas was 23-5 versus Philadelphia when he played

I was a Giant fan :tro: so I hated the Cowboys and the Eagles !

As a youngster, I remember his name being called many times. Doomsday Defense...Rest in Peace Champ

As a Bear's fan in that era we pretty much respected anyone but a Bear.

Even Bobby Douglas?

Bobby Douglass is crazy nuts!

I forgot about one Revie Sorey, an obscure offensive guard in the late 70's who'd play basketball with the neighborhood kids in his driveway. Not sure how tall he was, maybe 6-6'2" tops, weighed close to 300lbs, but he could dunk easily.

He was the Running QB long before it was fashionable however that was the end of his skill set.

It's come in handy when he runs from police. After breaking into neighbor's and ex-girlfriend's homes.
