Champagne

I haven't made up my mind on this, so I'd appreciate thoughts.

DTS,

I agree that he looks beatable in this spot. I'm interested in seeing how I'm a Numbers Guy does.

I was expecting to see Tiz Wonderful in here.

Anyone know what's up with him?

Thanks for the input.
I have to look more.
I never toss out a Coa ridden one, either.
Peg and Numbers seem likely.
Time to think...

Obviously Scat Daddy, Nobiz, and Pegasus will be the first three betting choices.
I'manumbersguy worked in bullet time earlier this week, which apparently was a good enough work to cause them to go after this race instead of the NY-bred stakes race in a week. He may be good enough to get a piece here. His defection made my buddy who owns the runnerup to him in his last start very happy. bad Boy Rising will likely be favored in that NY Bred Stakes race. Had numbersguy run, BBR would have likely been 8-1 or higher.
I like Pegasus to improve here.

Oracle,
Do you know anything about Buffalo Man?
Is this one going to be a longshot at a very big price?
Look who's riding him.
Thanks for finding out.

Based on his pps, versus the others in the field, Buffalo Man appears WAY over his head.

Thanks Blackthroat.
In a way, that's something that I like to hear.
I'll tell you the story about how I learned to swim sometime. It starts out at the deep end of the pool.
Then...after I fought my way past all those scratching kittens in the burlap bag...

Here are the brisnet PP's for the Frizette and Champagne

If Allude can improve from her last race she could destroy this field

I like I'm A Numbers Guy in the Champagne, I think Elliot can rate him
like he did in his maiden victory

kentuckyrosesinmay 10-12-2006 05:42 PM

This is a talented field. I think I'm a Numbers Guy is a really good horse, but I think Tagg may take this thing with the lovely Nobiz Like Shobiz. The only thing that I don't like about Nobiz Like Shobiz is that he is getting thrown to the wolves with only one prior start. Tagg must think VERY highly of this horse...

Of course, as of right now, Scat Daddy is the class of the field, but I think that I will try to beat him .

In the Frizette, I like the filly Allude. That's my girl. Two prior starts, a third while not cranked in the first, and a 6 length win with just a tap on the shoulder in the second. She'll be ready to roll, and I think that it is going to be her coming out party.

Yes, I like those plays. I've been all over Allude since her first start, but then again, I'm a believer in the Orientates.

Aggresive move by Tagg has me thinking Nobiz Like Shobiz is a monster.

kentuckyrosesinmay 10-12-2006 05:55 PM

You and me both Pillow Pants. I didn't think that Tagg would have put him in this race. If Nobiz Like Shobiz has a good showing, we may see him in the Juvy afterall...

that's the first thing I thought of when I saw numbersguy in the champagne. BBR will be very tough in next week's NY bred stakes race.

If he goes in the Juvy, he'll most likely be my pick to win. I absolutely love this guy.
