Ed Stanco announcement ends nice filly's career.. Has to happen but hard to lose fan favorites like her. Stanco wasn't afraid to challenge the filly and generously shared her with all.

It was awesome that hoss and owner won the Alabama, and realize their wonderful accomplishment. After the gallop out on the way back to the Winners Circle, that filly was beaming as if she'd won the Alabama Stakes....probably because she just did. Thanks for the memory.

Shame hardly a surprise. Pletcher's stock simply never return to form once its gone. A wonderful story for great connections. Their decision to forego the safety of staying in the barn for shipping to Distaff was wonderful act of sportsmanship and one which speaks much louder then her non effort
