No, nor did I understand Sessions to say that. Allowing the flood of illegals in the first place was a bipartisan look-away.

The question is what's driving the amnesty movement: Compassion? Or cash? Unquestionably it's the cash, AND the importation of constituents, shrouded under the guise of compassion.

That op-ed talked a lot about depressed wages in the tech sector, apparently blaming it on immigrants, but that's not the real story:
