Baffert makes it official.. Bayern to Travers

Sweet! Baffert puts charge into Travers with Bayern confirmation for Midsummer Derby..

They're probably going to take a Game On Dude approach to each race with Bayern, now that he has two big wire to wire wins.

The other contenders need a rabbit or something. I think as long as Bayern gets confidence from being on the lead, it will be hard for any horse to defeat him.

I disagree. I think he'll be a clear bet-against at likely short odds. It definitely adds to the intrigue of the race though.

good like finding a rabbit that fast. He'll go as fast as he has to . if necessary, he could easily run these guys off their feet.

I guess Uncle Sigh is finished for the year. He would have been a good rabbit

He is done for the year. Pulled a muscle in his back getting cast in his stall.

Uncle Sigh likely done for the year due to injury

Baffert might have liked how Moreno took the Whitney and figured why not give him the shot.

How many horses have won the Haskell and Travers ?
