Keep firing away. Its a slump, happens to everyone.
You can go into the play-along threads you can find the same 3-4 guys complaining daily about losing.... It happens.

it only takes one. i went the whole meet with one winning day. it was nightmarish. I won a miricle headbob on a Hooper mare named Evaluating. 45-1. For my only winning day of the meet. I feel you are about to heat up,alot of heaters starting up. Keep on keepin on.

I just wanted to say that those are some of my favorite threads.

Don't see it the same way as you do... they're not complaints as much as little bits of comedy, stream of consciousness, handicapping insight... spontaneous little ramblings and critiques and the occasional outburst of joy and victory... I mean they are great reads and the reader is presented with all these opinions about the same set of circumstance, the same race(s)...

Not correcting you, RHT, I'm just telling you my side of being a spectator on the same subject.

I don't read the play along thread every single day but I usually come across some very funny posts, some nice scores and the occasional insight that makes me go and watch a replay (... therefore, I do learn from those guys). :)

Listen.... I got blasted in the other day from someone who used to be very friendly with me.... I was posting 2 or 3 bets a day but I was betting more then I make in a week. And the guys betting $50 a race are losing real money, so they have the right to bitch. Thats pretty much exactly what was said to me. Yesterday I didn't post anything in there, but someone was keeping trip notes and posted them post race.... 2 different people started bashing him. So, its not only me. There is pretty much 1 guy in there who has big scores. He is sharp, but hes also an *******, to me and to other people.

Yes of course they have the right to bitch. If you thought I was somehow correcting you I do apologize.

I just meant that, for me, as a spectator, it's a lot more than a daily thread of complaining! That isn't even the essence of it... it's more like performance art. :D

Take a few days off...once I start feeling like a punching bag I take a break and do something else..not sure if it helps handicapping but it prevents the brain frying that comes with daily wagering

some time it isn't just the picking but the betting.
I find that is the biggest thing that will make you lose.
Find a wagering strategy with bankroll and you'll sleep easy
for the rest of your life:)
p.s. I haven't slept in years!
