scary. i remember seeing a big oak get it right near that spot. tote board also got it that day.

the trees start to bustle, the locals begin packing up, menacing skies as you look past the 7 furlong chute. It's coming. you're alive in the pick 4. the feature is about to go. you're 3 deep and have 4 hosses in the last too. It's on the turf. and the wait starts. the feature goes. you get your best number home, and then it comes. Then you're sad. Then you start to get the willies cause the lightning and the thunder are like one second apart. and it's not ordinary, it's Loud. You look around, there's only trees and open ground. Now what ? Make a run for it and be the highest point in an open field, or stand under a tree ? Will it pass ? are they gonna pay consols ? are they gonna run the race in the mud ? Am i gonna be able to clock feet when they go out ? I hope i put the top up in the car. is this all really happening ?
