Saratoga Special Daily Paper

NYRA informs Sean Clancy he can't distribute his free paper on track grounds, two days before the start of the meet, then a day later compromises and gives 3 designated areas to distribute this fine publication. Must have been another NYRA bottom line decision, like eliminating the wooden benches outside the clubhouse.

The Special has been one of the many things that make Saratoga unique. If you're not immersing yourself in things like The Special, the Racing Museum, yearling sale, etc., you're really missing out if you're someone who fancies yourself a handicapper and a fan.
