Woodbine training accident claims life of exercise rider and filly
"According to the Toronto Star, Mourad Boudra was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics after suffering head injuries when the horse he was on collapsed and fell on top of him. The horse was a 3-year-old Ontario-bred filly by Mobil named Tawney’s Wish that had one career start last month. Various reports said it appeared the horse suffered a heart attack and ran through a fence."

On a muggy Woodbine day, the horse trailers went in and they went out by the stable gate. It seemed like any other summer day, except that one by one, people filed into the Woodbine rec room to honor an exercise rider who died last week. Before you knew it, the room was lined with people.
