Almost a legendary Bridgejumper meltdown today at PID
 

Elisian, a Smart Strike filly trained by Graham Motion had run 2nd in a pair of MSW races at Keeneland in her only two starts.

She shipped into Presque Isle today to run in a PA Bred MSW race. She was bet to odds of 1/9. More than $50,000 was bet to show on her.

She appeared home free inside the 1/16th pole, but ducked into the rail and almost sent jockey Mario Pino over the fence.

Pino recovered, but was practically pulling her up. She was able to save 3rd place by just a head.

I dont know why people would even do something that insane. There are easier ways to earn a couple thousand dollars with that kind of a bankroll
