Santa Anita has cancelled live racing Thursday 5/15/14 due to extreme heat.

Supposed to be nice by Sunday, just a early heat wave.

I dont think people realize that inland its much different than at HP, may be even classified as desert. Plenty of 90+ days in the summer in Arcadia.

In my opinion, the best weather can be found between Santa Barbara and Solvang, near the wineries.
