DRF - Workout or typo?
I've never seen this in a workout line, but there is another horse in the same race with one. After the Breeze indicator (B) there is what appears to be a pair of "S"s stacked on top of each other:
![]() any ideas what this means? |
The only thing that would make any iota of sense is 'standing start' -- it's either that or a typo.
Virtually all works are either from a gate (lowercase g obviously), or breaking off at a pole. Not sure it means that, but what else could it mean? |
Yeah, but wouldn't the drill be slower than only 2 sec based on the 6/8 work?
|
I might guess "Side by Side" if working in company throughout. Or, if a gate work "Stumbling Start" or "Slow Start", but never seen that noted for a work line. Interested to find out. Nice Catch.
After watching some of the Tampa Horses in person over the years...it could mean "Should Stop" Racing. :) |
It is 2/5 to be a typo.

I'll take NO typo Guessing sealed track - I've seen this before, just forgot what it was |

The symbol is in a spot that is either left blank, or filled with a lowercase 'g' indicating a workout from the gate. It most likely means nothing. |
Super Slow.
