Sighty needs our help

For those that weren't aware, Nicole Buttis -- 'Sightseek' -- had a riding accident early this year that is causing extended health issues. Many may have seen this fund-raiser emerge at Facebook and I'm sure anything we can do to help will be greatly appreciated by Sighty whom so many of us have gotten to know personally over the last 10 years...

Wishing her a speedy and complete recovery.

Oh wow.. Hate to hear all this. I will definitely help just as soon as I can.

Get well soon Nicole!

Take care of yourself, Sighty, and don't worry... we all know the extreme generosity of everyone here. That goal WILL be reached. :)

Take care, sistah!

I can't thank my "Nerdy" family enough! Horse racing has been a wonderful discovery for me - not only for the thrills the sport provides, but for the people you meet along the way. Thank you all for being a part of that. :)

Anyone on twitter knows that social media can be an effective way of getting a message like this spread far and wide...I have asked my followers to consider helping by donating the winnings from just one of their wagers.
I have also asked them to consider retweeting the link...every horseplayer can benefit by creating "good karma"

Thanks for letting us know, Steve. This is one of the best aspects of the internets.

Hoping for a full recovery soon, Sighty!

Sighty is a great person, great horse racing fan, and has been one of the posters who has made this board such a fun and special place. Countless times, she has put a smile on my face, and said something to put me in a good mood.

Hope you get better, soon. Sweetheart

You guys are all so amazing! I wish I could find the words to express how much your support means to me. Thank you for all of the kind messages on my page. :{>: :{>: :{>:

I'm on board and would challenge all of us to reach down to someone who's brought great joy to this site. If you've been around here for any time, you know that.

I'd expect a ground swell of support for one of ours.

Happy New Year Nicole!

Thinking of you and wishing a 2014 that brings a full recovery.

We're all behind you and this year is gonna be better for you if only by a collective sheer force of will on our part. I'm definitely gonna give people an ear/eye full online. The internet is at its best helping in situations like this. I realize most people assume it's at its best when drawing our attention to cute kittens, but this is actually a greater use for it.
