12/22: Hollywood Park ($122k C/O; Closing Day)
 

Positively surreal realizing this will be the last time any of us handicap and play at Hollywood Park. I was late in my development as a horseplayer to work the California tracks, but I've come to love Hollywood and Santa Anita as venues and am going to miss the Inglewood action as much as anyone. The 2 weeks of ATR Hollywood Memories heightened my own sadness at today's finale and hope the visits with those that helped write the track's history contributed to everyone's appreciation for the oval's place in the sport's pantheon. Mandatory payouts in the P5, P6 and Super Hi-5 and of course there was appropriately a carryover to send the Track of Lakes and Flowers into history..
