Hi Steve,

Any update on Pal? How did he come out of his last race, will we see him on the track again anytime soon, are there plans to rest him over the winter, etc.

Pal great and had been hoping for Wed. spot but race didn't go.. However it was brought back on today's overnight for Friday. (There was even a chance that both Pal and Cory could have been in Wednesday in two different races).

Pal went a solid half this morning in :50.3 to prepare. If we can get this last start of the year in, he would then get about 75 days off to freshen for spring.

Race doesn't go for Friday but brought back for Saturday. Entries Wednesday.

Didn't see Pal among Saturday's entries. Didn't get in?

Gary wanted to wait. Said there's another spot next week instead.

Storm that is working its' way East is allegedly hitting metro by Thanksgiving and would certainly scuttle turf. Toy Cannon is scheduled to run in the NY-ALW on the Cigar Mile undercard Saturday as well.. Hoping for best.

Glad I double checked! Probably won't get to watch, but good luck and safe trips to all, thanks to Gary and the barn for all their efforts with Pal!

Nothing of note to report. All OK. Was worth staying in race with nothing else to do given likely end to grass season in NY and we got an unsurprising result. Since it was a group of turf horses with murky main track form (other than the one MTO), Gary hoped he could get a piece despite his obvious inability on dirt. Will discus, but we had a very nice year with him with the 2 wins, so 75-90 days off likely with return to action next March/April.
