How does a scratched horse run..?
 
Belmont 10th. #12 actually wins but they say he was scratched.

isn't this what happens when they incorrectly announce a horse is scratched. said horse can run, but no bets i think.

He threw a shoe while they were loading the gate. Not fair for bettors to have disadvantage, not enough disadvantage to deny owner the chance to run.

I thought he was a bad favorite. That shoe has kept my pk4 alive.

I'm surprised they didn't scratch. Wouldn't an owner/trainer be concerned running without a shoe?
