Fairly certain Parx still has to offer a mutuel field beyond 12 interests, unless that changed this year. Yup...

Hooray! :tro:

RockHardTen1985 09-16-2013 11:23 PM

9-10-11 is a nice pick 3. Not sure anyone is close to Close Hatches if she runs her A race. Thats OK though, because the 9 and 11th are wide open. I love Wayne but Im not totally sold on Will Take Charge. He seemed to get really good at Toga. I want to see him bring that elsewhere I guess.

Looks like all 14 numbered as such in the Gallant Bob...guess they expanded the tote at PRX

Alabama Stakes 09-18-2013 12:58 AM

field of 14

lotta value. I bet the boss can make my day.

What kind of odds do you think Javas War will be? I'm really glad they're giving him another try on the dirt.

Should he be lower than the 1 entry?

randallscott35 09-18-2013 11:01 AM

great card

Anyone want to discuss 9-11.

Kasept 09-18-2013 12:25 PM

David Grening ‏@DRFGrening 1h: Flash Forward, entered in Cotillion at Parx Sat, will instead run in Zaftig at Bel Fri. Purple Egg will run at Bel Fri, not in Gallant Bob

Sightseek 09-18-2013 04:07 PM

Is My Happy Face more likely to run here or CT?

Rainbow heir/my happy face/moreno pick 3...like stealing. Not sure if that's the discussion your looking for though.

I am completely against My Happy Face and hope she goes in this spot. Granted she did not get the best of trips but the race was collapsing from a pace standpoint and she should have won by open lengths, now she has to stretch out and gets to chase 2 grade 1 winners who very well may get the jump on her, or worse they decide to send her up with My Sweet Lulu and set it up for Close Hatches, either way she is likely to be 3/1 and I dont want any part of her.

Moreno is one of only 2 I'm using. Him n the 1 entry. So 3 I guess.

Sightseek 09-20-2013 12:33 AM

Moreno could obviously control this race, but I'm taking a shot with Fury Kapcori, the entry and Battier. There is no one I have more faith in than Hollendorfer shipping and I thought Battier's race last out was decent and he's had a few races where he's had an excuse and will be a price that will hopefully hit the board.

letswastemoney 09-20-2013 02:30 AM

On BRIS, Moreno keeps getting cakewalk pace setups for his style. Fury Kapcori's dirt form may be hidden beneath all those synthetic races. Will Take Charge is probably the best horse, but will be overbet.

letswastemoney 09-20-2013 10:13 PM

Street Girl was pace compromised in some of her races. She could be interesting here, and owns the best last race BRIS late pace figure.

At least I had a few seconds of excitement with Battier. :)

This was my first time at Parx -- crowd was much larger than I expected and while I understand they don't normally draw large crowds, it was virtually impossible to get a bet in or hear the races.
