Derby Trail Forums - SAR TURF: 6th OFF.. all others on..

Ok so I made my wagers for the day at Saratoga after late scratches, track conditions, etc including double wagers races 7-8 and 8-9. Was away for the day and did not get a chance to keep up or view results until after all races were run. And they take 8th off turf for some reason at some point after my wagers had been placed. Not sure why as I don't believe there was any rain of consequence. Of course my two turf horses 4 and 7 don't scratch and I would have cancelled my doubles if I was keeping up. So my bad if I am being out of line but I don't agree with this type of decision by NYRA. Saw that Steve Crist in his daily blog also was curious by this move. Isn't this game hard enough as it is with the takeouts, cheating etc?
