Saginaw
Dave Grening reporting that he did not make it, fractured both sesamoids in left foreleg.
One of my favorites. Big time Bummer. :wf:wf |
:( He was a special horse.

I cant wait for the Joe Drape piece
|
Terrible news. One of the coolest horses ever on the NYRA circuit in my book.
|
Just dreadful. RIP

Man! Sorry to hear the bad news.... He was loved by many fans, and I know he will be sorely missed at the track.

21 of 41 lifetime, with 10 wins in 2012 tying him for most wins in the year in North America. Just shy of $1,000,000 in career earnings. He was as game as they come and had a will to get to the wire first. Big loss for the game. |

Very sad news.

Very difficult atmosphere around the track as the news spread. The Drawing Away people were devastated as you'd imagine, especially as they deservedly have seen Saginaw as indestructible. But none of them are. Very sad. RIP.

I'm heartbroken. I can only imagine what his connections are going through. R.I.P. Saginaw. You are missed

He was special.....Rest in Peace Champ..........
|
Always get that empty feeling when something like this happens. It could be the Derby or a 5K claimer at Penn. Hopefully he exited doing something he loved.
|
the kind of hoss every owner should hope for. So sorry for our loss.
