One Revolution: Returns to worktab!

We have decided to give her 60 days of non-training rest and let her bone bruising completely heal. While she has made some progress the balancing act between light training and doing enough so that she can be fit enough to race is just not working to my satisfaction. We will bring her back to the training center in NJ, give her 60 days of turnout time, swim her a few days a week once she returns to training and point towards a winter campaign in Florida. It has been frustrating as everything that could possibly go wrong seemingly has, so getting her back to 100% and moving forward from there is the goal.

Thanks for the update and for doing what's best for her.

Good job Chuck.

Disappointed we won't see her for awhile but it is the right thing to do. Hopefully she will come back stronger than ever.

any updates?

Kasept 12-02-2013 04:16 PM

Chuck will provide details but back under tack and expected to be working soon..

Cannon Shell 12-03-2013 03:39 PM

She is doing great. Been jogging for a month and just started galloping this week. Her legs are 100% and she has matured physically during the downtime. Long term plan is to get a race under her belt around March 1 as a prep for turf season.

great, thanks!!

What's the latest on One Revoltion?

Kasept 02-24-2014 10:21 AM

Chuck will fill in the blanks, but other than missing days with the track condition at Penn, she's doing well and working toward spring return..

Cannon Shell 02-25-2014 06:00 AM

She is doing fine but because we have missed approx 1/2 of our training days this year because of weather and its affect on the track surface, her schedule has been pushed back quite a bit. At this point if we can get a few weeks of uninterpreted training we can better determine where and when she will be able to return to the races.

Danzig 02-25-2014 07:11 AM

chuck, are you and OR at penn national?

Can we get an update on One Rev? Haven't seen any workout times posted, has she been training, is she healthy, time table for next race? Thanks.

We lost a lot of time this winter with the poor weather and bad track conditions. She has had a few minor issues, got sick, bruised a foot and wound up with an abscess. Been frustrating but she is doing well and will be leaving Penn for Monmouth at the end of next week. Look for a work around the 30th and if we can get a few solid works under her belt a turf sprint race right around June 1st. Ideally we could use that race as a bridge to stretch her out to 1 mile -1 1/16th turf only unless there was an extreme case like a 3 horse race. Sorry that I havent kept up, just a little frustrated that Murphys law seems to apply to her all the time.

GenuineRisk 04-15-2014 04:53 PM

Thanks for the update, Chuck! Glad to hear she's doing better and here's hoping Murphy is repealed for her for awhile.

Miker 04-15-2014 10:33 PM

Thanks Chuck. Hopefully she has overcome all the set backs and will begin her winning ways this Spring/Summer.

LouK 04-20-2014 11:30 PM

Hopefully there are no more problems. Looking forward to her return. Thanks, Chuck.
