What a day I will be making the trip

randallscott35 07-17-2013 01:50 PM

Good inside draw with Cannon on the inner. Best of luck there, should figure.

Lava 07-17-2013 06:50 PM

Steve what do I need to do to get in the paddock and anyway we can go to the barn to see corybant and toy cannon? Does anybody know if I can get seats outside the gates?

Will have paddock passes for everyone and we're very well known to Leroy, the guard at the entrance.

Won't be a problem to see Corybant and Toy Cannon after the races. Cory at Gary's barn between the main track and the Oklahoma training track and Toy Cannon at Mott's barn(s) at the long end of the Oklahoma towards Fifth Avenue.

Anyone who needs tickets should write me at the tpkasept@yahoo.com address. I'll get a strip from Group Sales. More details as well in Emails to partners.

Not necessarily. He has run his best when wide and much prefers to be outside horses.

BigBlue 07-18-2013 09:54 AM

If he could somehow stay more forwardly placed and begin his run a little earlier - that may be the strategy.

Then again, what do I know. If Junior needs some riding advice he can PM me here at the forum.

Can't wait - should be a fun day of racing!

Storm Cadet 07-19-2013 09:51 AM

Can somebody please take a pix of Rosie Naprovnick in our silks and post! Thanks

Alabama Stakes 07-19-2013 09:56 AM

It's a long drive by Jimmy Wynn, going, going, GONE

Toy Cannon seems to like to pass, which is a good thing. I think he gets the money Saturday. Hope y'all take a picture in the winners circle.

Lava 07-19-2013 10:06 AM

Do we have a spot to meet?

Kasept 07-19-2013 05:55 PM

Corybant will scratch from Saturday's race in favor of a turf start next week..

Toy Cannon all set for the 5th and Paddock Passes will be available at the little booth by the Passock entrance. Valentine, the guard at the paddock walk, will know that Dee Teers are coming.

See you later. 3:03p post, Paddock around 2:40p...

Safe trip to Cannon & Junior!

Danzig 07-20-2013 12:48 PM

bigdog_14086 07-20-2013 05:28 PM

Great run by TC. thanks to Bill Mott, his team and Johnny V in the irons. :)

BigBlue 07-20-2013 05:30 PM

Another great race today. Thanks everybody!

Storm Cadet 07-20-2013 08:15 PM

Nice race again....keep JV on TC and switch silks to DT for a change of luck :)

Kasept 07-21-2013 05:01 AM

Thought Velazquez filled in more than ably for injured Junior Alvarado on no notice. That check on the backstretch cost Cannon 3+ lengths and Johnny said he wouldn't help for a while before picking the bit back up. Made the steady advance to just miss in a very good effort for the big gelding. Back in 3-4 weeks which could mean a start on Alabama or Travers Day. Thanks to everyone that came out! Was a lot of fun..

76 Beyer. Now 8/1-4-0 with earnings of $72,746.

Alabama Stakes 07-21-2013 07:47 AM

Alabama Day would be AWESOME. Thats a cool hard tryin hoss y'all have. Great name, and loves to pass.:)
