did he do something wrong in derby not to get ride back on revolutionary?

Studying the replay of the Belmont today, I have absolutely no idea what Javier Castallano was trying to do on Revolutionary.

He should have been back behind Orb and Golden Soul like he was in the Derby ... instead, it looked as though he tried to steal a page from the Ronnie Franklin Belmont Stakes playbook.

That was one of the most bizarre rides you'll ever see.

I just don't think he is that good but hopefully he continues to take money.

I thought Castellano moved a bit early on him in Louisiana as well. It didn't matter in that race because the only one there with a chance to run him down at the end is an absolute hanger.

As for the switch from Borel back to Castellano, I would guess the fact that the horse was 2-for-2 with Castellano up played some role.

I just figured Borel only rides for Pletcher in big races like the Kentucky Derby, especially since it's assumed Borel knows Churchill Downs better than most.
