6/4: Corybant (BEL Training Track) :49.03 B 5/18

Nice half from Corybant this morning on the training track. Regaining fitness quickly. May be just a couple works away from returning. Saw the indentation on his hoof where the infection came out for first time today. We were lucky this incident didn't become a serious problem. Was perhaps a 3" gash at one point. Doing great now and has become a very sweet horse to be around.

I don't have a lot of equine experience, but Corybant is certainly the only horse that has ever nuzzled his head against my chest asking to be petted. That was a year ago, but I'll never forget him.
