Fussy eater..love it...RIP good fellow...

He despised phonies, his 1969 Volvo (which he also loved), know-it-all Yankees, Southerners who used the words "veranda" and "porte cochere" to put on airs, eating grape leaves
If he ever tasted my wife's stuffed grape leaves he would do a 180..:tro:

i also don't care for cilantro, grape leaves (it's not the filling, it's the leaves) and my husband will only buy blue plate mayo.

and i concur with him regarding daylight savings time. hell, germany came up with that damnable idea during ww1, and for some reason most of us joined in. idiotic.

My gramma had a grape vine in her backyard..home grown leaves are the very best, nice and tender..only ones available now are jar canned and a bit tough..but the stuffing makes up for that..somewhat..
