I vote for Housebuster, Invasor, Lure, and abstain from a 4th selection.

The fact that Borel keeps coming up for consideration is laughable.

so true.I would love to see the Ant make it, he was a joy to be around, and hosses felt the same way. They just liked him, and ran for him.

I'm very surprised Lure isn't in yet. One of the best American turfers I can remember.

A big part of me wants to see him get in. He was a big talent and we'll never know what he really could've been. But unfortunately there is a lot of "could have's" in sports. If I had a vote, I would vote for him, but I can certainly understand why many would disagree. One thing for sure, when he was on his game, he was one of the best!

My Antley story..


One night after 4 pm post Friday night at Del Mar I ran into Chris on the way out the gate. He had a troubled trip on one of his rides and I said to him " you almost got there Chris". He stopped and talked with me for about 10 minutes. Said he thought he was going to win - said he was sorry he didn't win. He was really a nice and very engaging guy. Told me to say hello when I went to Saratoga as he planned to do some riding there.

I was heading out - he was heading back to the party - he was all yippered up.

Great talent...sad ending.
