Dish or Direct TV
We are thinking of changing from Dish to direct tv. Are both HRTV and TVG available on Direct? The sales rep was confused, but I want to have both? Thanks.

I'm in the same boat - going to be moving out of the Verizon FIOS area and need to get one of the two. The Dish guide was confusing, and I didn't see TVG. But if you can get both, that might be the deal. Plus I think you can order the Roberts Simucast package for like 59.00 a month and get the exact same simulcast feed as the otb's on Dish. |
My bad on DISH not having TVG. I was obviously wrong

ditto what the two above me stated. I have to spend an extra $10/month for the sports package that includes tvg/hrtv and a busload of regional sports networks that i never watch. u-verse is att's version of fios. same concept. if it's available where you live, it's a good alternative. |
Thanks so much for all of the information. I will check on the ATT program. Does it have all of the regular programming as well?

Dish has the best value. HRTV and TVG is offered even in the most basic package.
