IL ADW fiasco likely to drag to end of February
 

Am hearing that the best case scenario resolving the Illinois ADW screwing takes things toward the end of February. Simply beyond belief..

Yeah it would be nice to be able to bet Santa Anita right now, but after a long day at work the last thing I'm doing is driving to an OTB.

My personal conspiracy theory is that the reason it wasn't signed was because Quinn stated that no horse racing bill was to be signed because the slots were close to being approved and he was going to give the bare minimum, and basically loop this into the slots bills.

The IL racing industry has upteen lobbyists working Springfield on a daily basis, for them not to get something that was 85% approved, not called to the floor, is so dumbfounding that it just can't be true.
