Luck on DVD
 

Got it for Christmas and saw first six episodes over the weekend.

I like it. I really wish the series was not cancelled.

So do a lot of people including those reviewers who ranked it as one of the best new series of the season.

Did they ever show the one episode of season 2 which I thought I had read they had completed filming?

There was potential for it to be included in the box set. I don't think it was fully edited and ready for airing, but I'll check with John Perrotta to see.

I saw it on at least 6 top 25 lists from respectable reviewers.

I really liked it, but none of my HBO-loving but non-horse-racing-fan friends could get into it. Though I don't think that was the subject matter so much as maybe a few too many plot lines. For me, though, I was really pissed when they canned it and would have cancelled my HBO subscription in a huff except that A) I'm kind of apathetic and B) Game of Thrones.

Finished Luck this weekend. Really, really liked it.

I mourn the death of this great series. I will be passing it around the family to those who love gambling, mob shows, horse racing.

I loved it!

HBO canceled Luck, I canceled HBO!

I saw every one except the last episode. They took it off faster than Cop Rock.
