As I'm sure you all know, everything is about business these days.

Everything is about the Almighty Dollar, the bottom line.

DerbyTrail.com is no exception.

Part of the job for myself and my new team, is to produce revenue here…and don’t be fooled by what you’ve seen or heard…this place rolls LARGE and brings in huge money.

But…we could roll much larger.

That’s why we're here to promote and institute new ideas to keep this place thriving in the market place. What we'd like to see, quite frankly, is an exercise in kinder, gentler message board posting.

Studies have shown that "nice" or "normal" online discussion is what appeals to the masses.

So, going forward, we’d like for you to refrain from any obscenities, and we’d like you to engage in what would be construed as “pleasant” discussion.

For example: If you have a disagreement with another poster, instead of saying, “Gargle my balls, you Sultan of SUCK,” go with something more along the lines of, “I understand your point, but I respectfully disagree. Perhaps we will see eye-to-eye next time.”

Now, let’s practice by conducting an exercise. Simply post in this thread and say something pleasant about the poster above you.
