Kentucky Derby Seating

Maybe someone can help me with a question about seating for the Kentucky Derby. We have seats for the Derby in section 120. We had them last year and loved them. My friend called and has seats in 224. I was wondering if anyone has sat in section 224, if so what were your thoughts? Thanks

derby seating

For what its worth we had derby seating in section 221 from 1988-1995. Sections 221-225 are in the mezzanine. You are elavated above the grandstand terrace, so your view of the track is a little better than on the main floor. It was a long time ago and maybe things have changed, but the advantage of being in the mezzanine was that you could go upstairs to the third floor grandstand to wager. Hopefully its better now but back in the day wagering on the terrace level the wagering lines were long.(15-20 minute wait in line) Mezzanine seats are bleacher seats. I started with terrace seats and when mezzanine become available I grabbed them.

Holy cow, you've now more than doubled your entire post count just this year alone!
