One minute to post

Has anyone ever heard a more annoying one minute to post warning sound then what Hollywood Park has? It's amazing and they have been doing for as long as can remember.

i went to a filming of the price is right with some college friends like 20 years ago, and before the game show, they had a bunch of us screen some new sitcom project they were working on, with fran drescher. the nanny, or some crap like that.

every time you liked a part, you pushed a green button. disliked? a red button.

within 45 seconds, i took the hand held red button and kept it pressed to my forehead for the rest of the show.

of course, that show went on to be hugely popular.

ick.

you are referring to the doorbell i presume.

i like it, because i always hear it and then i know its 1 minute to post and i should place my bet.

Disagree. I like the warning tone. When I ran a Nevada race book back in the day, I would always make sure the Hollywood volume was turned up so that patrons could hear the warning tones with post approaching. It certainly got people out of their seats and into the betting lines.
