What must Obama do this term in order for you to say. "Hey I was wrong, the guy did a good job, I guess he needed more than 4 years to clean up this mess". Are you capable of even getting to that point, I think Rupert may be but Joey and Dell the way you come across to me and it may be just me, your seething hatred comes across as something much deeper.

become a republican. he wouldn't have to change anything that he thinks or does. just put an R instead of a D behind his name, and all would be well with them. i have no doubt that they voted a straight republican ticket.

i believe he's already a secret republican. he hasn't released his voter registration forms. he's clearly hiding something.

In four years unemployment under 7% and National Debt under 19 trillion would be nice.

5% Unemployment and debt under 15 trillion would be better.

In short - he needs to do the opposite of what he has been doing. No more class warfare, lower the taxes for everybody (rich included) and cut the spending so much that a little of the revenue can be used to actually chip away at this debt.

Del I think this is fair and your stock just shot up in my book for 1 answering and 2 not giving some absurd numbers like most tea party guy would. We All need him to hit these numbers.

Taxes are already at a historical low. Remember they were TEMPORARILY put there by GWB since we were flush with cash. Maybe that was becuase there were NO WARS in the 90's and the country was at full employment.

funny thing about temporary tax changes. they are always anything but.

people need a dose of reality. we had a president who pushed thru 'temporary' tax cuts so that we would see job growth (which hasn't happened) while spending trillions on two wars with no increase in taxes to pay for it.

so, less jobs than when the cuts were enacted, which means less revenue. also means more needing assistance.
then there's the fiction that wars mean growth. so, huge budget hits, with no corresponding increases in funding to pay for them.

a double-whammy. well, a triple actually, counting two separate wars.

and then people yelp that we 'can't raise taxes'. bullsh!t.

what are you doing in 2016?

With regards to the economy, Im hoping that both sides are willing to compromise. I think think the Republicans need to allow for some small tax raises for the highest tax brackets and I think Obama needs to be willing to cut some spending.


I think Obama has done a good job with the war on terror. I think the drone strikes have been effective and I hope they continue when needed.

I do not think Obama's decisions to oust close allies from power in Libta and Egypt were good decisions. I hope he doesn't do anything like that in the future.

I jope Obama shows a little stronger support for Israel in the future.

I hope the new head if the Justice Department doesn't try to stop state law enforcement from doing their job like Eric Holder did. In addition, I hope Obama keeps his original promise to leave states alone when it comes to medical marijuana. The feds should use their resources to secure the border rather than harass medical marijuana clinics that are approved by their states.

In general, I hope Obama governs from the center. I hope he doesn't move way to the left, now that he doesnt have to worry about being re-elected.

I hope Obama doesn't give blanket amnesty to illegal aliens. I would like to see him give illegal aliens a guest woker card and let them work here legally as guest workers. Convicted felons should not be allowed to get the guest worker cards.
