Occupy Wall Street on front lines of hurricane relief

Before the Red Cross and FEMA even got there, the still thriving Occupy Wall Street hit up it's grassroots connections for donations, and had their people giving relief as Occupy Sandy.

Cooking hot food, initial rescue, phone cards, water, diapers, cleaning property, etc. - they were there as soon as the winds died down.

This is all the stuff that the larger organizations like Red Cross are not good at dealing with due to logistics (collecting food donations rather than delivering MRE, etc) - but is readily dealt with by tons of volunteers (sorting donated coats and shoes by sex and size, etc)

Well done, Occupy.

Occupy camps at Wal Mart and Amazon wedding registries to garner donations

Naw - I think they sent him out to WalMart to buy the $5000 worth of "supplies" they had their rally attendees "bring".

They cheered on Hurricane Sandy as a way to get rid of capitalism.

http://blog.heritage.org/2012/10/30/...new-york-city/

example "No subways. No electricity. No chains. #capitalism #sandy #nyc"

It would be a good time for this Occupy cult to pull a "Jim Jones" Kool-Aid party.

Keep those non-union scumbags out of the Northeast. How dare they try to help people in need?

Beat them up, cult members.
