I know he ran Sat. at Belmont but he didn't hit the board. Just curious what happened, if anyone knows. He's one of my favorites. Did he have a bad trip? I hope he is okay.

He did not have the best trip. He was wide the entire way. He never had any punch at any point during the race. The 1-2-3 finishers ran that way around the track. I thought the winner was very impressive.

Thank, RH10. I'm glad he just had a crummy trip, or was flat. I was afraid something happened to him. Maybe he needs a little break.

No problem. Just to be clear I cant confirm or deny if he was injured. I never saw him pull up or take a bad step. I also cant find any article saying he came out of the race wrong. I think he was just dull. He is getting up there in age, and he is not the most consistent type. He has a clunker in him from time to time.

Was the track muddy? Maybe that was the problem??

No. Having early speed did not hurt though. So he was against it.
