Belmont today

At NYRA.com, when you click on turf course conditions, it says everything is OFF the turf today. However, when you click on the scratches/changes, it shows everything is ON the turf, and the turf is good:zz:

No information is better than conflicting information, IMO.

Certainly this isn't the worst tragedy of all time, but it is annoying.

As did Andy Serling via Twitter.

This week, Belmont = Scratchmont.

There is no question now that they are OFF the turf. I guess turf course conditions on the NYRA web page is more reliable than the scratches/changes section, or at least updated sooner.

NYRA scratches/changes page is very unreliable!

Give me specific examples and I will deal with it.

The confusion with the Turf today was that until around 11 only the 10th was off the turf.

There are none cause they are the most reliable of any track out there.

They certainly try to be, which is appreciated. As someone who caps early in the morning, race day, I love having turf course info available at 7am, or thereabouts, in order to save myself some extra work/trouble. This weekend (pretty much only), the turf course updates were late getting out. And today, obviously there was some confusion with what they were doing, and they had conflicting information on the site.
That was my only reason for starting the thread.
