Pleasant Colony won two legs of the triple crown and left an impact on the breed. I am so happy to have the ability to watch these broadcasts. I am a big fan of this colt. Campo was awesome to watch!

Two things:

1.) That Preakness Call was just so-so. Either Pimlico had a malfunction or the caller was nervous or caught off guard - either way less than stellar Preakness call.


2.) A little known fact is that "Bud Delp, who trained Spectacular Bid, had Pleasant Colony for a while" According to this sports illustrated article:

Our own Tony Black finished fourth in the 1981 Kentucky Derby to Pleasant Colony! It was his highest finish, that I know of, in a Kentucky Derby. Any Chance you have that race or broadcast and will upload it one day? Would love to see the full series!
