Obamacare in all it's glory

Let's take a look at how Ovamacare is designed to kill Grandma and Grandpa:

It has slashed funding by 716 billion dollars from Medicare to fund other parts of Obamacare.

Those slashes are mainly to what hospitals, physicians, and dialysis centers are paid which means they get paid much less to treat people on Medicaid and private insurance.

Because of the reduced payments almost half of the hospitals will be operating at a loss if they can even stay open. Even if they stay open there will be fewer doctors, nurses, and other support staff.

Obamacare empowers Katleen Sebelius to eliminate preventive care for seniors while increasing preventive care for those on Medicaid.

Obamacare rewards hospitals that spend the least on seniors while penalizing those who spend more on seniors.

Of course none of this will apply to seniors like Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, or Obama's mother-in-law, after all they are in the privileged class.

The model for Obamacare is the Romneycare plan in Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Republican party doesn't have much good to say about Mittster. Too liberal. :)

Yeah Big Run, Romney attempted a State takeover of healthcare and learned it is a disaster. Only an idiot would model a National healthcare plan after a failed State one.

"Disaster" - LOL - What a completely fact-free and silly statement. Romneycare works fine. Blah, blah, blah ... good lord, do you have a brain? You just yak on and on and on and on with your silly, baby-like hate and anger gig ... geesh, you're a crashing bore!

actually, i would prefer if every state did that...rather than the feds doing a huge one size fits all for the country. because one size doesn't fit all in clothing or anything else for that matter.

It is not "one size fits all" - you are mistaken. The states do have complete individual control and flexibility to tailor their individual state insurance exchanges under Obamacare, in fact its what is most desired, and how the ACA was designed to work - with states controlling their own exchanges.

So that's how it will be - the states do control their own exchanges under the ACA. There are simply minimum things that need to be offered via the law.

Vermont, for example, is going whole-hog single payer for their state, within the ACA. Small state, easy for them.

Unfortunately, however, we have all these few silly Republican governors who refuse to participate and set that up for their citizens. That means that their citizens will still have an exchange, but it will be the federal "one size fits all" backup plan due to the governors failing to take advantage of the autonomy their state is given in the ACA.

I think Rick Perry has declined to set up an exchange for Texas, and perhaps the Gov. of Alabama, Virginia, Indiana (would have to look them up) So silly, especially for these "states rights!" proponents to give up state control and autonomy. Crazy of them.

Hey Riot, if higher costs with less coverage and a less friendly environment for hiring workers is working fine for you then so be it. However I apparently have higher standards than you.

That would include our own Rick Scott, vying now with Todd Akin for the title of "Republican Most Other Republicans Want to Disavow." I understand that he will be speaking at the upcoming convention, but I'm sure they'll keep him out of prime time.

Would like to post more tonight, but I have to get up early tomorrow am for my "Obama Death Panel" appointment.
