Did they just say Zo Impressive sustained a cannon bone fracture in the gallop out? She was sure looking wobbly before the finish line. I assumed she was being pulled up. I'm hoping it was just an effort to get her stopped that took that long, not that she was continued with to the wire.

Dave Grening just tweeted that it is a condylar right front leg fracture, good news is that it is career threatening but not life threatening according to the vet.

Phfew. Still wish she'd been pulled up faster. That vet on tv was driving me nuts with the "he" this and "he" that.

That was one of the more exciting Alabama renewals I can remember and one of the more exciting races within the past few months period. It's refreshing to see a horse set a very solid pace and keep going. And at ten furlongs no less.

questing literally destroyed that field....they have figured this horse out..thats for sure...no slouches in that field and simply to make them cry for mercy is unbelievable
