just curious

is anybody else fed up with the two party dictatorship this nation has?

aren't we ready at this point to try something different? for me, i refuse to support either party. it's just pointless.

until we get a viable THIRD PARTY involved we are flucked.

anybody else on board?

I don't think, at this point, we have two parties. They are so similar, their differences are minor compared to "liberal" and "conservative" in other countries.

I think it's a one-party dictatorship with two close wings, Dem and GOP.

The Tea Party and Libertarians basically want to eliminate as much of our government as they can, so I can't really consider them any form of government as our Constitution outlines. More like destroyers.

I would like a far left progressive wing to be strong, and a far right wing to be strong. But people have to be willing to meet in the middle. We do not have that now. We used to. Right now, our Democratic party is pretty much the Republicans of 30 years ago. Our whole country has been dragged weirdly right, compared to other countries.

Third parties used to be stronger than they are now, in my lifetime. They almost became seriously viable.

The Tea Party should split off to be a third party, and the Republican Party should try to reform as it used to be (more moderate) try to regain it's more moderate members. The Democratic party should be dragged way farther left by the true progressives.

Diversity is the hallmark of this country, but right now that diversity, that would allow a larger expression of political views, is anathema in this cultist, angry, rabid country.

Seriously - anybody who thinks this country is anywhere near "socialism" hasn't a clue what socialism is. It's nowhere close.
