Monmouth Rain Saturday night
 

Not a pro as far as the impact the rain tonight will have but figured I'd pass this along for those who may be interested

Started raining at about 10:30 PM. Heavy rain for about 1/2 hour and continues to rain lightly. Very humid. Scattered storms in the area for a few more hours tonight. Weather reports for Sunday say sunny, humid in the 90's.

With the rain we've had on/off the past week or so it could impact the grass.
Thinking main track will still be fast

Thanks for the update. Busy looking at DRF.Can't remember does Monmouth dry out quickly or are we looking at a sloppy track for Sunday.?

Note that in the 7th race #1 Marilyns Guy will probably be scratched as raced Saturday in the stake at Penn

With all the rain the last few days might be looking at "good" track and if it ends tonight and hold off the Haskell surface could be fast. One thing about Monmouth if the track come up Sloppy, Good or Muddy the the profile does not really change much from when it is fast.....you need to be close to the pace and closers are at a big disadvantage.
