Anglo-Saxon Heritage

Well, Romney advisor just goes full, "elect him, he's white". And it's only July.
I cannot recall another campaign in my lifetime with so many mistakes, gaffes, unforced errors.

The guy only has about 190 electoral votes. He can't get to 270 unless Hispanics, women, gays, non-whites vote for him. All the demographics he insults and offends. This is why his campaign imploded in 2008. Ugh.

Serious speculation that Romney won't even make it through the convention now. Could be a wild time in Tampa.

Only if he figures out a way to 270 electoral votes.

bigrun 07-25-2012 02:56 PM

I think at their convention they will draft Jeb Bush for prez and the Donald for VP...how's that sound...

Scary for the VP  ... Jeb is the only strong, universally-appealing viable candidate the GOP has now for Pres, I can't see them wasting him here. He's holding out for 2016.

Paul Ryan can't run because of his budget. Chris Christie, loudmouthed bully. Marco Rubio - also has national designs, will keep safe out of this cycle.

I can see the Ron Paul folks forcing a second ballot on the Romney/Portman ticket, however, and just causing lots of noise.

Mitt's campaign is just flailing right now. It's unbelievably amateur. And they just brought on more "professional" campaign people at the request of his SuperPAC owners, in the past month. Dick Cheney is pushing Romney and trying to control the foreign policy aspect.

More misinformation. Color me shocked.

And this is with them show Florida leaning slightly left, but we know that since illegitimate voters will actually not be allowed to sway the election, it is much closer to neutral.

What ledge is she going to jump off of when she has to acknowledge her new pres?

Antitrust32 07-26-2012 09:37 AM

I'm so not looking forward to either a Mitt Romney Presidency or a Obama 2nd term.

Hard to figure how Romney can possibly win enough electoral votes. According to all models, there's not really any electoral college path to victory for him.

No explosion if Romney wins. I'll just take my money and business and offshore to a first-world democracy :tro:

It will be sad to watch my fellow Americans suffer a massive and deep second recession, lose their earned benefits and pensions, and suffer massively increased unemployment due to non-workable austerity measures (as is happening in Britain now) ;) But if that's what the American people vote in, I guess that's what they want.

Why wait to go offshore? Prove a point, get a head start. France is a first world democracy that is a perfect place for you. While you are at it, why don't you help Barbara Streisand and Alec Baldwin fulfill their broken pledges to the American people and take them with you. I bet you will have a lot of supporters on the politics threads of the French version of Derby Trail.

Oh, Pointman, I feel so sorry for you :( Your nonstop anger and hate towards the "liberals" you love to demonize is such a sad bigotry to witness day in and out. How's that blood pressure, dude?

You are insufferable. You really need to take Hossy's advice and wake up and smell the truth.
