Romney and Biden NAACP speeches

Joe was in rare form, doing exactly what a VP is supposed to do, ride shotgun for the President. I think the audience was booing because his speech was over; sounded like they wanted an encore.

Starting to think that the Repugs are going to sacrifice Romney a la McCain in '08.

We may very well see Ron Paul, GOP candidate for President, 2012!

This is really getting weird in Republicanland. Tonight Drudge Report published deliberate massive headline teasers about Condi Rice being chosen for VP, in an attempt to draw media attention from the Bain lying thing.

The Romney campaign released a nasty, nasty ad this morning. Between the NAACP and the ad, they are praying for the media to be distracted and to let this Bain/FEC lie thing go. Instead, the media has grabbed onto it, found verifiable crap in the past week, and now everyone is searching through Romney's past. Boston Globe told Romney campaign to go fly a kite today, when the campaign demanded a retraction. Even the GOP is starting to turn on Romney late this afternoon.

Way to go Joe

Biden: GOP win would hurt black families.

Quote:

Vice President Joe Biden rallied support for President Barack Obama before the nation's largest civil rights organization on Thursday, declaring that Republican challenger Mitt Romney's election-year agenda would hurt — not help — working families in the black community.

Biden, appearing before the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's annual convention one day after Romney addressed the group, offered what amounted to a rebuttal of the Republican rival as both campaigns sought support from a key constituency in several swing states.
