That race never stops being exciting. It's also a great reminder of why Durkin is the best ever.

Well said.. we've really been privileged in NY to have Durkin around for so long.. He will be sorely missed when he retires..

I bet Concern in the BCC future (60-1) based on that race, so i recall it fondly.

I was at GP for HB's last race--everybody was shocked when he was pulled up, fearing the worst. Thankfully he has had a long, pampered life. That race was won by a horse just starting to make a name for himself, Cigar.
